Another car crash involving a commercial vehicle prompted a lane closure on Interstate 85 in Alabama. It also appears that the car’s driver was a little on the cautious side. One person was killed and several others suffered minor injuries.

Semi-truck accident in Crandall
The name Peyton Brown didn’t ring any bells. Not until Saturday night did the community of Crandall, Georgia get wind of the high school cheerleader’s death at the hands of a drunken driver. At least four people were killed and many more injured.
Nevertheless, the most significant thing that Peyton had was not her varsity jersey, but her life. Her body was on life support at the time of her passing. She was a member of the varsity cheerleading squad. She also had plans to attend an early graduation ceremony at her alma mater, the Chatsworth (Ga.) High School. A prayer vigil was held to remember her.
